This was my final project I did during University. My brief was allocated to me (through the Uni) by Flix Interactive and entailed creating a demonic boss character for a third person action video game. I knew immediately I was going to do a Witch/ Crone inspired enemy.
The boss is at the end of the first chapter (out of 3), so it is the first boss the player encounters.
The boss was required to have two key phases. One at 100% health and one at 50%. In my design, I took this into consideration and during the first phase, the character has smaller weapons and faster attacks with eyeballs open on its legs. As for the second phase, the enemy grows and the weapons are larger while the attacks are slower and deal more damage to the player.
